Filing a backflow test report to the City of Port Coquitlam

Where it goes

The report must be made on the City’s own form, which the tester buys.

How often, and by when

Annually, from the device’s final inspection date. Not stated in the bylaw — confirm with the authority. We would rather tell you we did not find one than invent a number you might plan around.

Whatever the deadline, the report only stands if your test kit was in calibration on the day. Most programmes require it every twelve months, and a lapsed kit does not slow you down — it stops you filing at all. We will email you before yours lapses, free.

Worth knowing

$30 for each form. Because the City sells the form, a generated one cannot be used.
