Filing a backflow test report to the City of Castlegar

Where it goes

“The City will accept hardcopy test reports submitted to Civic Works or emailed to the Cross-Connection Control Program manager.”

How often, and by when

Once in every 12 months. The report is due within 30 days.

Whatever the deadline, the report only stands if your test kit was in calibration on the day. Most programmes require it every twelve months, and a lapsed kit does not slow you down — it stops you filing at all. We will email you before yours lapses, free.

Worth knowing

FAST is a preferred option, never a requirement. Castlegar publishes a nine-company tester list and attaches no condition about how you file — the clean inverse of the North Okanagan.
